So you want to go to the weighting list for the slayer master you intend yo use. You will then sort from highest weighting to lowest. As you look down the list, you will block the ones with the highest weighting that you will always skip. By doing this, you are removing the tasks that you see the most from your line up, resulting in less overall skips of tasks you intend to avoid.
As far as "what tasks should I do" that's up to you and your play style. Personally I prioritize any task with a high gp return or the ability to cannon/barrage them for fast xp.
My favorite tasks are nechreal, dust devils, smoke devils, and hydra.
