How to get one on an early ironman? I've gotten one before but can't remember how.

if fairy rings unlocked, isnt that tree place good? or need axe earlier than that?

Earlier, I've gotten one on my last ironman real early but I can't remember how or where from. It was definitely before 60 woodcutting too.

After fairy tale, you get your first one from the tree spirits you safe spot.
Unless you have the WC level to get into the guild, that's the next best way

this, go for rune right away with fire strike

was fun doing this on leagues tbh

I would get 60 WC and buy one, takes like no time at all
