Never use the same password twice. Add an authenticator to your email as well.
It could also be because someone knows the "secret questions" attached to your account, if you ever added any. While Jagex has said they never use this information as a guaranteed recovery, it does still hold significant weight when they consider recovery requests.
wouldn't even say it's a significant, more like weighted the same as everything else.
I find billing, all prev passwords, ISP, and security questions are you need 3 of 4.
I can fail every time with any 2 on my account, i absolutely have to fill out 3 of the 4, and any of the 4 can be left out.
they also don't give a flying fuck what is put into "extra info" box, it isn't even read.
