Been years since I last played it and I would like to ask you guys how is it going atm? Jagex is trying to make it P2W like RS3 already?

Not nearly as p2w as rs3 is

buy bonds with gold or buy gold with bonds vs $$ beyond that i dont see any p2w in osrs
rs3 is nothing but p2w, maxed but cbf, since china buyout its been bleh

Buy gold and have JSP slaves to max your acc for you

Just curious why everyone says RS3 is P2W... Unsure how other player progress affects your account or playing experience.

Sure it's P2W if you consider gambling IRL $ on keys to get potential BXP to level faster? You'd have to spend like $10k or something for it you to max, no?

I think someone did it with 14k

Even if you have the best gear you can still suck at PvM in RS3.

I dont get how thats P2W

Imagine grinding 150 hours for 2m an hour to get upgrades.

Now imagine working a shift of minimum wage work and literally cut hours out of grinding.

If you cant see the contrast, you are beyond help.

Isn't that jsp in a nutshell though? Pay other people to level your accounts for you.

It's not specific to rs3. Osrs you can buy bonds and exchange it for rsgp which in turn you can use to pay people to level either directly or indirectly. Paying runners for zmi, bone runners, faster leveling methods.

The amount of people "buying exp" on rs3 is very slim. Cutting hours of a grind isn't specific to rs3.

Well if you can legally pay money to get your character boosted somehow (stats for example) then it is clearly P2W...

XP lamps.
Random XP events. Ex/ Christmas cracker.
