After constant debate with friends irl and fellow runescape community members I have decided to give rs3 a try. I am one of those people who quit when the game switched and made a new account as soon as old school came out never touching rs3. Over the years people try to convince me the game is good. I played a few hours this week and it’s interesting there is a lot to learn and the settings are god awful, I would like to hear from the rest of you. Have any of you switched and loved it/hated it? Do you play both.

Any advice for osrs player who is extremely overwhelmed by the settings and interface / pretty much an entirely different game?

buy more treasure hunter keys for the best experience

Get your combat done so I can carry you through ed3 I'm gonna get 120 invention that way so I'll be there for a while... free 99s....

Legacy settings is the key for me

Find a combat style you like. Go on the wiki and get an ability bar setup, then slap on revolution ND combat is ezpz

Ughh i forgot the tablet at home i wanted to play at work :/ they need mobil for iphone already.




Revolution mode is auto attacking for you?

Correct - it uses the abilities in your ability bar automatically based off of cooldowns. I use it for relaxed PvM and just activate my ultimate/threshold/defensive abilities manually. I let it cast autos and generate adrenaline manually.

osrs ultimate ironman > rs3 hcim > garbage p2w osrs > garbage p2w rs3 > dirthelm modes > osrs hcim
