i have been doing jobs on osrs and i just recieved a email from apple saying that my account has been accessed by a unknowen ip address and the account has now been locked.


the only thing i have ever done was logged into someone elses account.

i have 2 step authenticator on a seperate device.

and a bank pin

just wondering if it was runelite that they accessed my information with

Emails from apple are typically spam/scams trying to get ur info. I never open them.

so should i not take this seriously?

Look closely at the email that sent it to you, it is most like something like a.pple or there is a small mispelled word that goes unnoticed to make you think its real. I get 10 emails a day just like it saying my apple account has been hacked etc blah blah, yet my apple account (from my iphone) has not been active for over 5 years so yeah. Don't worry about it.

If you got an email from apple about rs then it's 100% sure to be fake.

Yeah I get emails every damn day about saying my email has been changed on my account etc they are all fake.

I don't trust any of them, lol.
