So I started doing birdhouse runs on my iron, way late to the game

According to the wiki I should average about 9 bird nests per run (so roughly 2 nests per birdhouse)

But I’m only getting like 4-6 typically.

This has been over 10 bird runs this way

Yes I am using magic birdhouses

I know that It could be just bad luck but I was wondering if the wiki just may be out of date and it got nerfed or something

Yeah for sure. Just seems weird that out of the 10ish bird runs I’ve done my highest amount of bird nests has been 7 which I just got on the one I just did.

Yeah it scales off of hunter lvl and log type. I’m 99 and use redwood and average like 9..

I wish I was at that point of my game play before it was nerfed or knew about bh runs haha. I don’t remember if I was doing them when it was nerfed. My buddy did bh runs religiously and he had thousands. I believe he has 17k on his iron while having like 6k brews made. He hasn’t played his account really in 6+ months. But yeah, he said he used to get a ton before nerf

its always in the sample size
for example yesterday i did an hour of gem rock mining and hit 50k exp
today i did an hour for 23k exp
i use yew birdhouses and i get 5-6 nests on average i would say
if you need the nests asap you could always do giant mole
