okay so here is my problem... im trying to train construction but my butler always run off the the extreme side outside the house. is there a way to make to butler follow you or atleast stay in the same room?

i tried to be fast enough when building the larders to keep him next to me but he leave right after giving me my planks to go outside the house....

Under the tool icon then click on the house icon.

Once u send him to the bank if u don't click thru his dialogue when he returns, the planks go to the inventory but he doesn't walk away any more
Only talk to him to send to the bank, then once u get them just immediately start building. He won't move

Also as long as he has at least 1 plank to hand you he wont walk away no matter what.
