I know a lot of y’all on here are very wealthy / have some baller accounts. I’m a very casual player and I just want to progress my account and get some higher end items. So if anyone has any tips at all on how to make money / get some good gear please let me know.

I have a non Ironman account, fairly decent stats. Total level of 1700.

I have combat stats all in the 80’s and from what I can see doing bossing is probably the most profitable?

I have about 40m in cash I can spend on gear to be able to boss. However, I’ve only really ever done barrows. (Is it even bossing)

Are my combat stats high enough to be able to do bossing? Should I do something else to try and get better gear?

Anything and everything will help!

Thanks in advance!

I have a very similar play style up until the last couple of months (lockdown in the UK)

I think you just have to get out of the mindset of I need X Y Z best gear right now and just do stuff you enjoy and slowly build your bank value.

key for me is just doing daily b staves and throwing in a few daily herb runs for profit (on mobile when i get a break at work). I would say I was making 10-15m a month just doing that.

Also it slows your progress but I tried to tie in profitable money makers to skills I wanted to train e.g needed 65 rc for ardy hard diaries so I did steam runes instead of lavas, slightly slower exp per hour but 300-500k profit per hour was more worth it for me slightly slowing down my exp - same with smithing, I did mith bars at blast furnace as it was a good balance between xp/profit

I can't really give the time usually to just go camp vorkath for 10 hours and then blow all the money on a really fast skilling method

learn to kill the money snek
with a bp, trident and basic switches, its fairly simple. the gp per hour is very good for med lvl stat requirements.

Get 82 construction asap to boost for rejuv pool as it's nice and OP
Get barrows portal in house and between the pool / tele in house only thing you'll use supply wise is runes / the occasional shark if veracs hits you hard or occasional prayer dose if DH tunnel and no safe spot available
^also if you go the barrows route drop everything you're doing and get mort hard diary done otherwise you're missing out on quite a bit of gp / hr

Mage training arena for infinity boots (or whatever current best item is, usually it's boots but might have changed idk) although kind of tedious it's really good mage xp and make some solid gp overall if you grind out like 8-10 boots then by that time I imagine you'd hate yourself (I personally don't mind mta :p )

Learning zulrah is definitely one of the best ways though, and having that rejuv pool + fairy ring + 71 agility would be ideal to have before zulrah though to maximize profit per hour (71 agility to summer pie to 76 for shortcut, or just get 76 which would make life easier)
^ would suggest to have at least ring of suffering / trident of swamps / blowpipe with addy darts as a minimum (ahrims /God d hide or void)

Could also just casually slay, as you get into the 70s and start getting kurask / gargs those are like 500k+ profit tasks or can even do konar slayer as each brimstone key is 100k~ average and they stack up nicely if you put the hours in

Another way would be getting 59 rc and making double cosmics (last time I knew this was like 600k gp / hr) not sure or current prices but it's not terrible for some casual gp with low requirement

Do mm2 and can kill demonic gorillas for the zenyte, although doing this you can go pretty dry at times all the other drops make you 500k+ an hour as is then when you do get that zenyte it's real nice

Edit : on the demonic gorillas portion i would suggest doing slayer and just doing gorillas when you get a black demon task so you get benefits of the slay helm to increase gp / hr + gives you a break from them doing other tasks in mean time and it all makes a good profit overall

If not done already, you could do dragon slayer 2 and farm some vorkath, if you end up liking it you can continue to do it for money but at least get assembler.

If you intend on ever getting into end-game stuff that requires gear + prayer switching, zulrah is a great way to dip your feet in, plus it's a great money maker.

If you want something more casual, I'd suggest going for mort hard diary and farm barrows.

money snake if you can handle switches. vorkath if you can't. i wouldn't bother with construction until you get your stats and gear up, your trips will be so slow it's better to just focus on getting those up first. you can always PoH in those laggy PoH worlds lol. until you can do zul/vork i guess you should stick to dailies like bird house, staffs, maybe herb runs probably not those. keep most of your cash in gold and flip with it while you grind something low gear requirement like slayer. bandos type gwd might be reasonable

gorillas are good for sure, but i didn't get a zulrah drop until around 800 kc. supposedly they're 1 in 128. my drops evened out around 3k kc nearing drop rate, but just imagining going that much over drop rate at gorillas (zenyte supposedly 1 in 300) would be the worst. basically if you don't get a zenyte at gorillas you just wasted your time and probably didn't even profit lol. so be careful what you choose, at least with zulrah/vork if you're dry it's really not that big of a deal. you might even run out of arclight charges before you get a zenyte depending on your drop luck. might not even be worth it to arclight gorillas so you'll be stuck with slower weapons. i don't use runelite so i don't have the prayer helpers and found gorillas more tedious than zulrah but everyone is different. vorkath definitely made me wanna quit after 1k kc, zulrah around 3k kc.

spending an hr or two at nmz to farm a couple million points with dharoks isn't a bad idea so you can herb box as a daily. kingdom is barely worth it, but i still would chuck like 2M in there and check it every 3 days or so. until you can break 1.5M+/hr you're stuck in daily scape for money making.
