Basically, I need some FG and asked around for a game to grind for it. Someone said to try Runescape so here I am. However, I've never played Runescape so I don't really know what I should be doing to acquire FG.

So, some questions:

1: What are the restrictions on F2P accounts? If I can't trade as F2P then I'm out.
2: Am I more likely to find buyers on new Runescape or old Runescape?
3: What common things should I keep an eye out for that sell? I don't really need large transactions and would prefer to sell cheap, common things that are still in demand.
4: That said, are there any rare drops that I'll encounter randomly that I should look out for?

Osrs earns more, rsgp is most commonly traded (not items, just coins), look up f2p to bond or something on yt to get started

get membership asap, thats where you make the "big bucks" try to aim for barrows gloves, clearing dragon slayer 2
farm vorkath and you will get 3m per hour with the good gear

there is a lot to do before earning good gp per hour in the game but in the end you will earn a good amount

invest 2-300 hours of your time in, and youll start making money slowly.

You can't really just jump into it and start making respectable coin, it takes decent skills or some particular knowledge of a particular money making method to really rake coins in. However, with that being said, it IS possible to just play and earn gold, although it may not be what you were expecting.

If you do your research and search money making methods on youtube, you will find a plethora of guides on it.

Basically how it works, is you play oldschool runescape. You earn gold and you sell the gold on jsp for forum gold. Alternatively if you're interested, you buy into rsgp with forum gold, and then sell the runescape gold to gold buyers for real money. While this isn't exactly allowed by Jagex, the owners, it is possible to do so if that's your interest (while unlikely for most small time sellers, it carries risks of being banned in game if you attempt the latter.)
