Mage will probably not raise your combat. Check it with a combat calc.

im kinda hoping to get more to a mid lvl void pure first to kinda learn the pvp situation then focus on being higher once i start to get it, feel like going to high right away will put me in with guys who been pvping more then a few days lol

but im focused on my 13 def pure getting to 99 slayer so i quit the acc already has void range, white dark bow etc

void is gonna be against maxed pures and then your less than 10 or so combat lvls away from people with venge

maybe 1 def is better for your situation and then turn into void?

im not sure what to do for 1 def pures been trying to learn as much about void pures

Personally i think you need to really start watching some videos on PKing at different combats, styles, builds etc, im saying this because youve had so many questions that maybe in a way you are unsure of what you want. i also think you arent reading far enough into a guide to fully understand what you need to do as far as questing, training and skilling etc. you need to get a good grasp on what you actually need to do and what it will take.

my personal opinion is that start with a little baby pure. risk is 20k. learn your switches...swaps etc. then build off that acc slowly or build it up.
