So after not playing anymore for years i kinda wanna get back into osrs
But is it worth it? Do they update it? and is the updates to much?

I got an account with pretty much 80+ all stats and over 200m cash but i lost so much interest in osrs a few years back is it still the same chill game or has it become to updated for an old player to join back?

Depends on how long ago you left, but there is a lot more content to do.
Worst case, try it, dont like it, move on.

Got raids 1 / 2, new nightmare boss, few new quests, inferno (jad 2.0), Vorkath/Zulrah. Dont know if they where out before then. Kourend and Fossil island are new areas.
