I'm 85 combat - 60/71/64 + 70 ranged + 57 magic + 43 prayer.
I'm 55 slayer.

I think I have a decent melee and ranged gear worth a few million each.

My goal is to make some profit with slayer - rather sooner than after 99 slayer...
I don't have enough money to cannon ball my way to high slayer levels.

Could someone more experienced give me some advice and perhaps a path to follow with some milestones to focus on?

65, 70, 75, 80, 83, 85, 87, 91, 93, and 95 are the milestone unlocks for good gp tasks in slayer.
Just do some afk slayer with melee and over time u will start getting the good gp tasks like gargs and nechs.

I have access to Nieve - should I use him for my tasks?

did you just do a troll task like 30 mins ago?

Stick to Chaeldar until you have 100 CB, then switch to Duradel.

At 75 slayer becomes very profitable.

Basically slayer goes the same way every time. You use like a whip/dragon budget set up until you're like 75+ slayer barely making a profit. Eventually you'll start netting random uniques from tasks, a Visage here, whip there, zenyte shard over there, that's when you'll finally start seeing some serious upgrades.

So train combat until 100 reaching 75 slayer using tasks from Chaeldar.
Then switch to Duradel.

What quests or other unlocks should I do in the meantime?

I enjoy wildy Slayer a lot. It's not efficient per say but it's nice to switch up the grind. Also can stack some points and whatnot

E/ konar tasks are also fun for a chance at some brimstone keys
