Meh, not really worth doing birdhouses for me, seems to be too much going out of my way when doing hunter. Maybe if I'm just bank standing or working on thieving I possibly could.

it's a good bit of exp for hardly any time spent, really adds up.
if your stationary at a bank spot where you can do crafting, it's not out of the way.
depending on what you're doing for hunter or theiving it can be out of the way, sure, but not when crafting.

The past 7 months or so I've been stuck in level 32 wilderness hunting so I haven't bothered to do them.

Could just hunter my main for free and get me pet *shrug* just an option

I've found that picking one skill to work on and continuing with it for as long as possible is the best way to go about skilling.
