Before I start, just want to be clear I understand the fault is mine.

I bought a starter account on eBay, and after playing hard for 10 days questing and Skilling, the seller recovered the account with original email.

I understand I won't get the acct back. Just don't want that scammer profiting off my blood and sweat, or scamming others with the acct.

Is there a way to report something like this to jagex and get acct banned permanently?

Report it to 3bay

Move on, if you report this to jagex chances are you'll get hit with a RWT ip ban.

Yep already 3bay reported and did get my money back. Just h8 the fact all that time and osrs gold I spent on the acct is wasted..

Also should see it as a good lesson, to never buy pre made accounts.

This for the most part.. if you do tho use reputable providers on reputable sites/forums and this kinda situation will be much less common

Yea lesson learnt the hard way. The guy had good feedback and history of selling accts, so I thought it was safe.

Now I get why d2jsp does not allow acct sale as well, it's very hard to mediate something like this.

account trade is the easiest scam ever.
that's why it's illegal just be happy you got your money back you paid for acc.

sorry for your lose but thats the risk you take doing that stuff.

more rewarding to have your own account anyways, start fresh and get after it comrade
