Hey guide, new player to OSRS here. I read online that NMZ is the best method of training combat xp, and i was getting mixed reviews everyone online so thought maybe someone might have some advice or personal experience with the matter.

my combat stats are, 70/70/68. gear wise i have whip/dd/bandos top legs/neit hat/dboots and zerker ring with a fury.

I was told that for best XP you would be using full dharoks with a claws setup, however i also read that full dh isnt good until u have 90 hp?

Would i still be getting good exp with my current stats and gear, and if so would someone be able to provide me a rough estimate xp/hr wise?

Am i better off lvling combat through slayer or should i transition into DMZ?

My goals are 80/99/80 for melee stats so any input would be very appreciated cheers lads

Think you’re looking at around 85k xp/hr

The biggest perk of the method is how afkable the method is

Get overloads and absorption’s and find a new tv series to dig into.

You’ll have to do a few rounds to get the nmz points to buy overloads and absorption’s.
But yeah you should get 85k a hour using dharoks with a rock cake.

No prayer necessary because you have absorbtions

ahh.. how about with my current gear not using dharoks? would u have any estimate?

Can’t imagine it’d be much different.
Definitely wouldn’t hurt to try just use the rock cake still because keeping your hp low make absorption’s last a lot longer

U should not be using dh until u have 91hp and 90 str. Dh gets a 1% damage buff for each hp ur missing, so when ur like 80 hp ur only getting a 79% buff which ends up being less dps than obby sword, berserker necklace and obby armour.

Gotcha gotcha would u say that setup is better than my current? Should i invest in it?

also nice because no repair costs

edit:
100% get rock cake or locator orb and drop yourself to 1 hp after you overload, then just flick rapid heal once every 60 seconds to keep your HP from raising
also i stand in bottom left corner of the cave
