Hey everyone!

I just started a new account on OSRS and I have never played OSRS.

I want to know if there is a niche group of 1-99 F2P players here on JSP.

There are tons of benefits from membership but I was not sure if upgrading is something I want to do currently.

I was thinking it would be a fun but very tedious thing to do on OSRS but just checking to see if anyone has experience and descriptions of how they went about doing it.

Play f2p for at least a week if you're brand new before getting membership imo.

only those with an exceptional amount of autism can complete a 99 f2p!
you're setting yourself up for failure..
grind out all the f2p quests then buy membership.

I think starting out F2P has an enormous value if you have truly never played, its less overwhelming to learn and see if you like the game. I think the decision of whether or not you want members will come pretty naturally after you put in 20-40 hours. As far as grinding 99s because it seems special on f2p I would highly recommend against it. The drops/weapon upgrades are almost non existent, there is just no incentive. If you want to play the grindier version of the game make an iron man and get members eventually.

Just play the game and have fun. F2p is still great just a slower grind and gold is harder to come by but perseverance is key lol!

honestly f2p isnt worth playing at all, figure out the game maybe get your skills to 30 ish, then go to member

f2p is fun b/c of how simplistic it is
