I’m wondering if it would be worth it/ if I would get decent xp rates bursting at 75 magic(and obviously doing the best ice cast I can as I progress) with ancients in the mm tunnels obviously using best in slot that I can afford/use for my char or if I should get a higher magic level first and if so what level should I get before I start?

Start right away man doesn't make that huge of a difference. Also maximize prayer bonus as they have +0 mage defense.
Occult + tormented + kodai(if you can afford), otherwise max prayer bonus

I wouldn't burst in MM tunnels. MM2 tunnels are much better and doesn't even require full completion of the quest.

i mean start whenever, but id recommend bursting via slayer and not prioritizing it too hard.
Slayer gives access to helm which is +15% damage which means you use fewer runes, the costs get close to breaking even, and it is overall more beneficial for the account.
I'm almost 99 mage and never bursted out of task before, so it seems like itd be inefficient to use time that isnt slaying for training mage

I can say with chins (very similar) at 75rng chins are nowhere near endgame chin xp rates, but its still alot better than iron knives.
Bursting at your lvls wont be ideal. But it sure beats stun alching... kyles advice of not prioritizing it and slaying with it when u can is spot on imo

doesn't the slayer helm bonus only apply to the targeted monster? unless they changed it

diff worth bursting at 75+ however unluck mm2 tunnels dosen't require much at all!
