The game is already a 5,000 hour game. Now you're adding another 10,000 hours to that? I just don't get it. WHY?

because im a fucking gambling addict and every time i accumulate wealth i make a trip to the arena and clean the bank. Ironman has allowed me to play the game without my impulses taking over.

It adds a lot of freedom to the game instead of worrying about what is more profitable, you do what's more efficient or better for your character. In a sense, it 's a different game in a lot of ways.

Things that are commonplace and cheap af are now difficult to obtain and it makes a lot of the game a new challenge.

If you aren't into that, then don't play it.

This ofc. Plus lots of ironman accounts are still more efficient than a lot of regular accounts

Just getting into it now, but I enjoy having to work a little bit to accomplish some tasks. I get excited over some drops now that I wouldn't even pick up on my main lol. I look forward to grinding for uniques at zulrah and barrows gear long term.

The lenght and time of the journey does not matter. As long as you feel enlightened at the end.

I want an ironnman mostly because i tend to play based on gp versus just enjoying myself.

If you can have fun for 5,000 hours or have fun for 15,000 hours, which would you choose?
