have authenticator and make sure your email is secure
you will not get hacked
don't recycle passwords. any passwords that are multiple years old are likely for sale somewhere.

unique password for both rs and your email, put auth on rs and email because if you have auth on rs and you don't on email it's useless, and don't download sketchy shit sparc mac isn't quitting :)))

I told my cousins my password once.
A week later I got hacked, and had no idea how it happened.
Somehow my cousins had all my items in the exact same amount in their bank though.
Still, to this day, have no clue what happened.

Other than that, never been hacked after almost 15 years.

On a side note, I don't reuse my RS password anywhere else.

Common method is a phishing link where u get an email saying you broke a rule so your account got suspended and u have to login to a site that looks identical to the official rs site. If you have an authenticator youre safe from this.
