This is a public service announcement to anyone in Runescape sub forum. and any game really.
To avoid being scammed -
Do not give jobs to low post counts (under 1000 and/or less than 1 post per day.)
Do not give jobs to low gold accounts (less than 500, but really to anyone who has less than what can be repayed in their current FG should they not complete the job. IGNORE ANYONE WHO SAYS I CAN COVER IN RUNESCAPE GOLD.***)
Do not give jobs to someone with new join date (less than 2 years)
Low post counts with an old accounts (5+ years) are either a RS nerd who rarely frequents this site. Or more likely someone who bought the jsp account, because of the join date.
These above points are for your discretion. But especially someone with 2 or more of the above, you shouldn't get mad when you get scammed/issues with completion.
There are many reputable quest takers/lvl jobbers/fire capers on this website, with more than enough gold to cover your task, and who have earned trust within the community and understand that losing their earned faith is worth more than any account/forum gold.
If you are upset with some of the veterans prices. Don't be. These are vets that have been doing this for a long time. You will not get a pathetic "Im only human" response to your s/a.... there won't be one.
Even if they have a reputable 'friend' as I have seen they do not have the post count or the gold showing that they have a commitment to this community and this site.
Besides, no matter what the repute the 'friend' touts, its not like BRP is going to pay you back for a job that his 'friend' scammed.

***If they have the forum gold, you can get some form of payment/compensation. If they have RS gold. You just got scammed and will never see that person/gold/items again.
