Can I upgrade a Skiff into a sloop with a boosted level of 50 sailing?
Tried buying one for 200k with a boosted level and found out I couldn't.

i dont think its possible to upgrade from skiff to sloop.
pretty sure you have to buy them separate

Can I use boosts to upgrade core boat parts, or is it hard locked?

from what ive seen, you can build them but you cant use them

Weird, I haven't timed the trimmed sail boost time on the skiff, boosted salvaging was aids.
I feel like the salvaging wrecks time posted is lies, or at least they should be double.

Yeah, you can boost to build boat parts and facilities and access higher level areas slightly earlier.
You can't dock/moor at areas, participate in trials, or chart in areas you do not have the hard level for though.
