trying for untrim slayer on ironman, losing motivation as I want to boss from time to time, but afraid of messing up the hope.

untrim slayer wasn't my thought early into the account, so it might be too late already. It's still is a goal. curious if its still possible without training slayer in unconventional methods? if so id just start some grinds such as CG/Zulrah/Gwd, just dont want to commit potentially 1000's of kc (mass hp/combat exp) unless slayer untrim is a lost cause already

have quest cape and all hard diaries completed (no elite yet so about 600k exp waiting there), most fossils completed for exp lamps, every lamp I've gotten has gone to slayer, 89 mine/80 smith (don't think this is a problem for cball smithing)

currently have 35k cballs and ores/bars for additional 32k (roughly 15k granite dust)

89 hp 5.1m exp
90 range 5.7m exp
90 mage 5.8m exp
melees are low 80's
87 slayer 4m exp

tried to get spooned in Cg but about 160 kc with 1 armor crystal and pet so far
about 50 zulrah, no luck there either
few hundred barrows, only verac complete set, rest are 2 or 3 of 4
moon chests like 50 kc and 2 items so far.
few whips/tentacles
2 synapse from td tasks

mostly if the slayer grind is a lost cause, I'd love to grind some bosses to make slayer a little more streamlined, eventually do some raids, go for infernal. or if there is still room to toss some exp at bosses for the hope of a few drops and still get slayer untrimmed.

At this point in time:

You can get 8m worth of HP, which leaves roughly 19m combat experience between mage (bursting), and melees.
Ironically, you are roughly 9m experience away from 99 Slayer.

You can still do it, but you need to cannon roughly 3-4m range experience to get yourself a little more comfortable. Probably looking at 200-250k cannonballs to see an untrimmed Slayer cape.
