Hey, not sure where to post this surely this is the right area..

But I managed to lock myself out of my RuneScape accounts a few years back when I setup jagex authenticator while drunk, set it up with backup codes that I didn't write down and now I have no way of logging in or recovering the account (I can still login just need authenticator to access anything)

Wondering if anyone has had this issue and there is any way to solve it??

Would it be best to give someone all of my info and see if they can just straight up hack it lol..?

If you give someone enough information to "hack" it - they'll always have enough information to recover it.

If you paid for memberships with your own personal card, then it may be worth contacting Jagex, especially if you still have the same card.

I've gone through the recovery process etc but still need backup codes to login properly

And I unfortunately always used yearly codes on my accounts as it was a cheaper option when they were a thing

Log into the website, hit disable authenticator, go to your emails and confirm it.

I can't login without authenticator code..

I have an auth and it's not required to log in on the website. Only the game. What kind of special auth do you use?
