Nah not super early. It saves 2 inv slots and that's only when you need 3 different runes. If you just need to take alch runes on a slayer task per se, it only saves 1 slot.
For example, I'd say a fury upgrade over a glory is better than a rune pouch early. You can make due without a rune pouch basically always. It's a QoL thing.
