Adding junk items to the trade window when buying or selling gold for FG will auto flag Your account for rwting.
I know this for a fact because I did it when trading my Own account on the same ip and got a rwt ban, which means its automated.
Just pretend you are doing a giveaway, be smart and dont try such old tricks. Act like You just won/handed out a giveaway and you are a streamer or viewer.
Say "thank you so much, love the stream" etc, instead of just logging out so suspiciously without saying anything.
Another good method is acting like you are lending money to a friend or paying split on a bossing reward.
Say like "hmu on disc if you wanna raid again" or "hmu on disc when you can pay me back" etc.
When Jagex looks at a potential rule break I'm pretty sure they look at the chat logs.
Perform the trade slightly away from people so nobody can see the transaction instead of doing it in busy spots.
i.e. if ur at the grand exchange go south east to the clan hall entrance.
If ur in lumbridge go to the altar instead of right at the home tele spot.

"dumbest thing ive ever to date"

cant even form a coherent sentence using only 6 words

ur one to talk

don't talk when performing a trade.

i mean u can not talk if u want ive just never been banned using this method, the main point is to not add junk items to the trade

regardless idk what ur angle would be to not talk as if that somehow makes the trade seem legit

I've gotten RWT warnings in the past with empty trades. But disputed and had them removed.

Ive never gotten any when trading with items.

I suspect their algorithm is much more complex than just "was it an empty trade or not".

From what I understand they often do a chain of bans when a RWT ring is closed. And do a cascade of bans from anyone who made large unbalanced trades with them. I suspect that may have been more likely than trades between your own accounts.

Bottom line is I wouldnt get a rwt ban in 2024 trading myself items on my own ip and adding junk items when jagex has been flamed for banning ppl trading themselves on same ip address and implemented measures to prevent these false bans unless they had a feature implemented which flagged you for trading over junk items. This technique is extremely dated and one would have to be very naive to think jagex isnt onto it all these years later. My account which was banned never traded any gold seller it only traded my other account.

You're making a lot of assumptions. They have an entire subteam manually banning accounts and implementing algorithms to detect RWT.

I think it's unlikely you can pinpoint a specific trade that may or may not have set off a RWT warning. It could have been automated or manual.

Even assuming it was automated, I'd bet a company that's been sued in the past and invested lots of resources into limiting RWT would be more sophisticated. Your trading activity as a whole probably set off some flags, if it was an automated warning.

And, if so, you can dispute it on your jagex account on their website.

Again, bottom line is if you 1. Think jagex isnt onto ppl adding bronze arrows to a trade to bypass the detection system 20 years later or 2. Think any normal trade where money is lended, debts are paid back, or a prize is won would ever add junk items to the trade making it blatantly obvious ur rwting, ur playing checkers. I'm not saying its 100% automated I'm saying it flags you, and when they look at the transaction and see the junk items they dont have to think twice before banning you. Saying it's unlikely I can pinpoint the trade which triggered the ban is wild considering I just told you the account didnt trade with anyone else at any point months prior. I was simply transferring items over to my alt.
