I am a bit confused about the optimal setup for dps...

My stats are:

atk = 83
str = 83
def = 76
hp = 82


The wiki says dh is optimal at 92+ hp, and next is obsidian + berserker necklace + xil-ak, and then best str gear.
However, the wiki dps calc says differently for me.

Vs ammonite crabs, Ghrazi + neitiz face + bandos top & bot + ammy of torture is showing 0.273 more dps.
Both setups have same setup for other items (dragon defender, echo boots, barrows, berserker ring (i), and trimmed accomplishment cape).

Changing targets to ones with more defence increases the difference between the two setups even more.

Thoughts?

are you calcing the % bonus damage from obsidian + neck + xil?
would recommend just rocking that until 92 hp

I'm using the osrs wiki dps calc, so i'm pretty sure that has it factored in (it drops like 0.75 dps if i swap from zerk to torture).

Using a different calculator:


Set Active:Obsidian, 10% boost in accuracy and strength.
Notes - Berserker Necklace effect is active
DPS: 6.9495

vs

ghrazi + n.face + bandos chest + tassets + torture
DPS: 7.19087

So 0.24 dps difference in favor of ghrazi

What about the soulreaper axe

you're also calcing a 5m setup vs 100m+ setup
so if that dps increase is worth the money for you, do it up

I have both, just wondering why wiki says obby is 2nd best when calc is showing that it isnt...
