Coming back to the game after some time and never been into higher level PVM and such, so my question is this.

I see the stats on the ACB and Rune xbow, how well does that translate to actual Damage and accuracy?

Is an ACB really worth the 54m over a 50k rune crossbow?

How does the ACB stand against a dragon hunter crossbow?

As a person that can afford 1 or the other, not both, is it worth upgrading from rune crossbow? and to which one?
I own a blowpipe, but for higher defense monsters that i like to range safespot, which is better overall?

Don't forget about a regular 'Dragon Crossbow'
Costs ~1.2m, between rune and arma xbow for stats.
DHCB is only better than arma vs dragons, and part of arma xbows value is tied to Zaryte xbow.

the wiki has a dps calculator now.
Since most weapons differ when it comes to which monster they are used on, this tool can tell you which is best in any situation against every different monster

Acb isnt worth the cost. It's just used as an item to make Zaryte crossbow.

i might be wrong on this
but i think crossbows are pretty ammo dependent
dragon crossbow, acb, zcb, dhcb can all shoot dragon bolts
so if you're not doing vorkath / cox, probably best to settle with dragon crossbow given you need to do cb

edit:
honestly would recommend looking into sunlight hunter crossbow as well
could also aim for bofa / mage for safe spotting

Acb has one more range distance than rune or dragon. Also has a spec bar unlike rune and a good spec unlike dragon
