Anyone have any issues with importing an old character?

Running into an odd scenario... Old account was a username log in. Made a Jagex account and went to import it and now it's saying the account doesn't exist.

Support is giving generic replies about how to import an account. Still talking with them so I hope they can help, but wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I had absolute hell even creating a new one for some reason. Was doing that exact same thing. I had to go in and change password couple times. Keep in mind jagex account is case sensitive too. So the login and pass must have every capital or lowercase the same as creation. I know my original name login had 4 capital letters would mess me up today

Log into your Jagex account on the launcher, then click "Manage characters", and you can click "Import existing" to import your other characters

I tried this but when I typed in the username to import the character it said it doesn't exist.

No. It's the same. Jqgex came back and said that it's linked to a jagex account already so I have to see if I used other emails, but I'm not so sure.

This should be handled in the official server under account help.
