Being realistic I’ve got ADHD pretty significantly and my ability to track multiple things all at once or even really focus on more than one task simultaneously is pretty impaired. But I still always want to learn to do raiding so I can have fun at this otherwise not very fun game and eventually get good enough to not embarrass myself and be a burden to others on a team.

Having said this…what bosses or things would you all recommend I do for experience developing basic PVM skills?

Things like:
Not crumbling under pressure after 1-2 mistakes at a boss.
Prayer switching effectively
Resource management
Gear switches

All those kinds of basic bossing skills I don’t have. I’m mostly looking for places or ways to polish those skills without costing myself tons of GP in death costs.

Thanks for any advice. Sincerely.

Scurrius, Sarachnis & Tombs of Amascut 0 invocation runs are good at building PvM habits for you. Fight caves is a good one too if you haven’t done it already.

Tormented demons or Demonic Gorillas help with gear & pray switching a bit as well

Smaller bosses that don’t take much time to get too. Zulrah is a decent one to get the movement , swaps and dos flowing. For most the content you’ll just have to keep dying and than one time succeed die again and than start succeeding more . Low invo TOAs are half decent too but you have to know switching still

Would it be beneficial to use firecape to try and do jad attempts without needing to do fight caves for prayer switching?

If you have a spare firecape sure, but there’s a Jad simulator online you can use to get a bit of practice. Doesn’t have the same feeling as doing it ingame though

If you think raids are gonna be more fun than the rest of the game then sadly you've already lost.

Tbh KQ helped me a lot. The walking under practice is pretty big. Plus you get to try to full gear swap while she changes phases. Try to go as fast as you can then fix your mistakes after. She's gonna do dps either way

I also enjoyed quick gear swapping at grotesque Guardians which don't have much downside to messed up switches at all.

For movement, zulrah and vork are okay at that.

If you want prayer switches / movement go hit up nightmare/phosani

The names may have slipped me or changed. I do not recognize them. However, you would be correct on the person. I indeed live. I just barely get to play haha.
