I took what felt like 5 or 6 years off and came back and it just seems like a different game… Actually I just looked and I quit a few months after the Kalphite king was introduced so… 10 years.

Where do I start? I started with slayer and did a few tasks, living wyverns, dagannoth kings for the dagannoth task. Then I got Aviansies next and thought about killing Kree’ara or whatever her name is for that task. I did a little divination to work towards 80 for invention? No idea how that works. I got archaeology from 1 to 15 today

I definitely enjoy the nostalgia of the game, feels like they made some improvements and the combat although turn based esque, feels involved coming from recently playing Diablo 4 I actually enjoy the challenge more.

I guess what are some things I should try to accomplish? The upgraded fire cape from beating kal-Zuk looks promising but also daunting and I don’t think I’m ready for that. When I quit I was killing Nex and kalphite king a lot. I have all 99s except for the new skills - necro, divination, construction, and invention.

Big question I have is what gear should I be purchasing for each style and what quest or achievement gear do I need to get? Void ranger type stuff? I’ll probably be updating this as I move along, thanks guys!

It sucks that it's trying to be like a WoW style game, but still with the tile mode of osrs. It makes it feel so clunky and sketchy while playing.
Graphics are nice, and there has been a lot of advancements to it, but just feels bad playing it end game atleast.

I tried that before I quit, couldn’t get into it. Don’t know if it’s changed, but I actually enjoy the EOC and it feels a lot more immersive. The nostalgia of OSRS was fun but a little too slow for me now.



Yeah it is a little clunky but it’s still challenging at least for me. I think I’ve already died twice and mini panicked before i figured out I didn’t need to run back to my gravestone. I was like wait I just have to pay 100k for my 1 billion worth of gear I’m risking? Maybe I’ll feel the same way when I get back to endgame content

No FR FR games kinda ok, been killing goblins and man they’re tough as hell!

My thoughts on oldschool RS are that I played by way through that entire game already once and why go back and do it again. I guess pvp is kinda fun outside of that idk

They have added multiple raids/end game bosses that are all fun.

Unlocking invention very worthwhile
Elder God war dungeon great place to start bossing again
find a clan that does nex AOD and solar
A bunch of quest worth doing for several reasons,the newer ones have more relevant rewards
