Hello everyone.

I am making this thread because a lot of you good people responded to my "I'm de-ironing" thread in the trade section.

Long story short: I no-lifed 99 RC on a level 3 HCIM over a few months after getting bored on my main. Now that I did that, I'm extremely burnt out. I'm also thinking about de-ironing.

The response in the trade section was overwhelmingly in favor of not de-ironing. I am taking this very seriously. So, as someone who has never even had a normal iron before, I was hoping you all would answer some questions for me.

These are some of my concerns as an HCIM Skiller:

- Transport: I can't teleport, or build a portal nexus (1 mage), or use the GE for tele tabs. How on earth do I navigate the map?

- Herblore / Farming: How do I get seeds for farming without killing monsters? Is it all just pickpocketing the master farmer? Can I only do herblore based off of the herbs I farm?

- Crafting: How do I craft with no means of acquiring things like hides from killing cows and dragons? Do I just have to spin flax or mine gems?

I love OSRS. I've been playing for 15 years on and off. As you can tell by this thread, I'm still bad at the game.

I'm worried that I'll just get annoying about the HCIM life and leave the account behind, even though I'm so proud of 99 RC on a level 3 HCIM.

Herblore / Farming: How do I get seeds for farming without killing monsters? Is it all just pickpocketing the master farmer? Can I only do herblore based off of the herbs I farm?

Get 99 fming via Wintertodt and don't open all crates, doing mass games you'll get between 500-600kc so that many crates, if you open 50-100 crates fairly early on you'll get some low level seeds, some starter cash, etc. If you hold crates and open them as you level along (crate rewards choose when opening and are based on skilling lvls, example lvl 1 in fishing you're getting shrimp mostly, lvl 80 fishing when opening crate you're more likely to get sharks and better food)

Teleporting around will be difficult as a skiller specifically without mage to make jewelry but you can utilize mini game teleports for the most part.

I've played off and on for 20 years now and I'm still a pure shit pvmer and barely decent skiller, I just happen to have a life which takes priority over the game, although sometimes my wife would disagree.

Is there a reason you're going skiller? You said you suck at the game, are you afraid you won't enjoy pvm because of that?

I have a hcim Skiller myself. Currently 40m fm xp. You must learn to love it.

Once you have 70+agi I suggest solos. It supplies so much

Tree seeds
Herbs
Ore
Gold
Food


At 40m fm xp I have enough tree seeds for low 70s farming just off tree runs
And enough herb seeds for a substantial herb lvl once harvested, though secondaries are a whole problem themselves lol
