Anyway Ill give the low down
So Oda got a group of people to start a GIM including Faux and Purespam among others.., and he made a series for youtube, he has been trying to get his youtube vids rep up up since Odas relationship with twitch has gotten hairy and he wants to spread out income yada yada yada.
In fact After the Group ironmen started Oda was streaming on Kick which is a rival platform to twitch and on there he was saying how he can say anything he wants. He then went on to say how because of his religion trans people are a no go can't do that because of his religion etc etc.
Some people took this as Oda is a transphobe and immediately members of his GIM said they are no longer playing with Oda and removing themselves from the GIm to save face.
Also recently all of Odas accounts have been permanently banned from OSRS. The current story is that Jagex noticed his accounts were getting serviced (levelling services) and that was cause for perma banning all of his accounts. Oda admitted to servicing in some circumstances but many people believe that jagex banned his accounts in relation to the comments made on his Kick stream.
Members of the GIm incuding FAUX have said they will make a new GIM without Oda

I don't think what Oda said constitutes him getting perma banned and the community losing their shit on him. What he did was technically wrong, and it can easily be inferred from his ignorance that he simply doesnt like trans people to a large degree and in that case was using his religion as a way to pseudo protect his view. In that regard I understand why the community acted liek they did. But every single community is softer than baby shit and cries demons and witches every time someone even hints at saying something that isn't part of 'the modern message' which I personally think is bullshit as people should be able to have differing opinions without the need to stonewall people. Its really immature to take the stonewall route and the fact that so many communities take this approach just shows the immaturity level of the audience. In my Opinion.
Now. I want to be clear. I think Oda is toxic. I think Oda is a terrible person to be trying to represent the community. Oda on stream takes donations from people to stake with and does this all the time. Oda admits to using services to level his accounts. Oda CLEARLY rwts and buys/sells gold. So ya... Oda does deserve to be perma banned. Oda is a fucking piece of shit little kid, and you shouldnt give attention to snot nosed shit disturber teenagers. Oda screams and yells and whines like a little fucking child on his streams. So fuck him. I dont give a fuck, kid is trash.
