Hi

Im new to OSRS. What wold you do if you had to rush into making 5m/hour as a total new player? What would be your plan? I would like to hear ideas especially from experienced players.

Im interested in hearing what would be your route/plan to do it.

5M an hour you want to do end game stuff which takes quite a lot of time to get to. This is assuming you're a solo player (not botting etc) and are able to access certain things, I know corrupted gauntlet was 5M+ a time ago but I think has been nerfed due to all the bots spamming it, so you still have raids etc

Isn't the game to come in with little knowledge of it and expect to make big money quickly. It's a long term game and you're always best playing toward at least max combat and hopefully hit money along the way, playing OSRS for gp/hr will lead to a few different things but none of which being long term money.

I think I was missunderstood

Not asking how a new player can make 5m/hour fast.

Im just curious on what route ( long term one ) that would you choose to focus. The purppose of the game is to enjoy it , I just mentioned 5m/hour as a random number example , but the core of my question is on what experienced players would plan/focus if they were starting new today.

Like good insights or personal experience , not asking the general exact "Money making" methods as it is already in osrs wiki etc.... More interested in personal taste and good tips , thinks to avoid etc.

the route is the same to all of these things

get barrows gloves

Quest out barrows yes. Doin all quests unlocks lots of things and levels and gives you general knowledge of the entire world and stuff. Then focus slayer and combats. Only way to really make money in the game is slayer and end game bossing. Otherwise this games a major money dump before that. Buying supplies n gear n what not

to be making 5m/hr doesnt really exist. the best quick cash money maker is vorkath at 3.8m. 5m/hr is raids, but you have to invest time into raiding to get the 5m average. you need 175 qp to complete the quest for barrows gloves, you can look at an optimal osrs quest guide and make sure you are using runelite and the quest plugin. then once your questing for barrows glove is complete, then focus on combats stats via nightmare zone. Get all combat stats to 90s , get 90 prayer also. if you have access to ge make sure to buy augary and rigour. Then complete the grandmaster quests (monkey madness 2, dragon slayer 2, song of the elves.)

Best bet imo would be to rush good stats and quests to try and do Desert Treasure 2 on day 1 and farm the new bosses when they release
You'll unlock other endgame areas doing this as well which will give you some variety
