Capital in the Twenty-First Century
By: Thomas Piketty, Arthur Goldhammer - translatorQuote
“Piketty’s Capital in the Twenty-First Century is an intellectual tour de force, a triumph of economic history over the theoretical, mathematical modeling that has come to dominate the economics profession in recent years.”
—Steven Pearlstein, Washington Post
Long book and the first two parts involved a lot of mathematical models and such, making it somewhat of a snooze. But the third part that focused on the inequality of the past and present was quite fascinating. From what I've heard, the inequality gap has only grown since the publication of the book which gives me a big heh.
