Yeah did about the same, taking a bit of a break..

I would head to puro puro and open until med clue, then fill inv with 19 more. Rince/repeat until I had about 100 banked and then open those. Wasn't keen on hunting like 3k of them and slowly opening if theres a chance I get it in 1 med (although pretty sure I'm already over 3k > <).
