His mother and I had been reading Moby Dick before we had him. We read that name and decided we liked it.

It's a bit of a story really.
You see, when she was pregnant with him, her physical abilities were very limited.
Eventually she was becoming very depressed, and finding very few outlets to occupy her time, due to her physical limitations.
Eventually I suggest reading old classical literature, Charles Dickens in particular.
We started by reading "A Tale of Two Cities" together, and she was pretty quickly hooked. I could see an immediate improvement in her mental state.
And then we started reading "Moby Dick". As soon as we came across the character named Ishmael, we both looked at each other and had the same thought.
And so, about 2 weeks later, Ish was born.
And then we taught him how to play Runescape at the age of three. And thus, a legend was born.
