87 Magic




My third Fight Caves attempt, also my third time dying on Jad..
I Panic and can't seem to kill him, I'm not used to the sounds or movements I guess..
Trying ancients this time and hoping that helps

I think I give up on trying for a Kiln.. I can't even beat Jad

Grats on the levels so far Lys, but I woudn't give up on Jad just yet. Pray swapping is a huge pain in the ass, but its actually simple if you just take it slowly. From where you were at, I find its easier to be on the opposite side of boot rock and use range (target one of the healers at a time, while pray swapping to get all their attention on you) that way if you run into an issue you can heal, then run behind the rock to break Jads line of sight on you and give you a breather. Luckily he doesnt one shot you anymore like he used to, but if you break your routine then its easy to fail it. If you need some help let me know and I'll give you some pointers online today.

After attempting the fight caves 6 times, and dying on Jad every single time.. I would like some advice and help with the caves.
I have my set up down and can get to Jad with full supplies, but I do have a few questions..

With 87 Magic, should I be using Water Blast or Ice Blitz? I have reached Jad using both spells, but Ice Blitz seem to take longer.
My main issue is for Jad and the healers, I can't kill him before he gets healed and the healers wont all stay on me.
I have watched several guides, but none of them are newer.
ANY help or tips will be great for me, I feel like such a dumb blonde for not being able to kill Jad over 6 times..

I'm on Jad once again, and would really like someone to give me a tip on rounding up these healers with magic.. i cant get them all.

Honestly Lys, I think range is your best bet. I just would hide behind boot rock when the healers would spawn, refresh potions/prayer points and then switch on pro-mage/anguish. Whatever combat style you choose, you want to be where the red arrow points if he spawns by the yellow arrow. Or, vice versa. What I usually did, was at the start of wave 62 I would lure all scrub ass monsters to where I was, which was where the yellow arrow points. If jad spawns where you are, pro-mage and run to top side of boot rock. Then you just watch him for attacks, if he stands on hind legs and screeches, pro-mage. If he smashes hooves into ground, pro-range. When healers come out, you use the top of rock to break his line of sight on you for those "Oh-shit" occurrences where something goes wrong, top off heals/prayers and try again. Then you target one healer at a time while swapping prays as needed, until all are focused on you, then unleash all abilities or just auto-cast him to death. Takes a few tries, but you'll get it eventually.

I finally got it, now I'm working on the kiln..
That's going to be a tricky situation..
