Honestly, if I didn't have 20K FG when I came into 2007, I'd be pretty far behind ATM - further than I currently am.  But you've got to do some crazy shit ATM to keep up as a semi-normal player, IE this is how my monitor looks

It's a race, but it's largely controlled by how much IRL$, FG, or YouTube fame you have.  But it's incredibly competitive because of that, and I fucking love it.
