If you did, or didn't do it, you are guilty through association or whatever it is ("Being in the wrong place at the wrong time" or being involved somehow) - I'm not exactly sure what the term is.
Any reputation you feel you had previously gained, will have been lost as soon as any such action happened, whether you like it or not.
While it's great that your repaying for what happened, remember that it doesn't erase the action/event.
From this point forward, maybe you should chose your jobs more wisely, and be more respectful of others' property (ie: not stacking others' gold, to get them gold you are repaying with, or not "screwing around" on other peoples' accounts).
Think of doing an RS job like a real life job, treat it with respect, and do the job correctly and reasonably.
If this event was a misunderstanding, and you truly and honestly didn't in anyway lose Traxile's gold/items, then you should be able to move on from this incident.
Fix what mistakes you have been making, and better your job ethic. That's how you can earn some reputation and respect back.
Otherwise, you will be plagued with this event for the rest of your time in the RS Section.
He already attempted to scam my account, so why even bother wondering if he did/or didn't scam traxile?
Once a scammer, always a scammer. ( At least for the right amount)
