im interested in that hunting method

I am only getting ~40k/hr hunting indegious (for bush seeds ofc)

and I don't know about the whole smoking the trap thing, haven't seen any significant increase in catch rate doing it

It's really noticeable on the god jadinkos/draconics, namely, and gets less effective as the hunter requirement goes down. The guide for draconics/carrion should be out later today, as it's just a matter of me determining the "official" best trap layout and then it's good to go.

don't have 80 hunter or con yet >_<

think it would be better to hunt common or ind for bush seeds, i've found 1 seed in my last 50 catches off ind <_<

make that 65 now...

Stick to ind if you're going to make a lot of farming pots, but if you think 50 vines will last you for a while as far as farming's go then switch to common. While they're lower exp, they're really abundant and have a stupidly high random seed drop rate.

if you have the agility level I would say yes

if not this is a good alternative

ohh Keith, add that you can get strange rocks from both the noose tracking and flower trapping ;)

Honestly, I'm thinking these could be better than even black warlocks. As long as you don't hate box trapping, these are hands down better than all of them prior to black warlock, but with NO agility requirement they're surpassing/equaling the exp rate of warlocks, and that's with me half-assing it with no "official" trap setup.

Will have exact exp figures in the guide later today. I was surprised.

Smoking traps gave me about 50% bonus while hunting god jads, and I mean smoking at maxium speed, eg a scentless potion. Was able to get 13 sara vines without using any scentless potion over the course of 1 dose of hunter potion, then I did zammy with them and got 21
Combined with arctic bear, it's probably like 60-70% rate increase. Combined with baiting, it might be even more, but I'm gonna stick to zammy (for vines) or carrion (for exp/seed) for now I suppose

I mentioned it in my edit, arctic bear is a decent help. Only problem with it is, unless you get it stuck behind something or are intentionally hunting in a very tight spot, he'll always be in your way. Rarely to the point where you have to right click to pick up traps, but the click area will be smaller.
