50% of XP comes after each event, and 50% comes at the end of a successful Trek. So try not to leave unless you have to. If you get a Bog right at the start or some crazy shit like that just tele and restart yeah
Bog is ezpz if you use the stick.
I also think it's faster to rush through fast events, like looking at what's ahead to get the fastest ones when you can or just do easy when you cant
