^ OK, those are weak gains, but I will be gaining Invention XP soon. It's worth trying RS3 again for -- frustrating at 1st, but then fun b/c it's complicated

@ Matt, indeed, it is relentless yet I have stood firm-ish for years. Maybe I'll convert, but not before I get good at Invention

- Ice Strykewyrm task, made over 1m from bird's nests, which would be luck except that means SOL loot beams were blocked

I've been gathering Invention parts/comps lately and it has gone well. Ofc they added new comps, which means I lost out on tons of comps by previously disassembling stuff that now gives the new parts. Invention was easily the most horribly organized/implemented skill release in the history of the game. Yet it's annoyingly compelling once you get into it. So it ends up being the best of the "new" skills.

Randomly achieved 103 Attack around the same time I got 83 Invention:

Lemme get 120 Inv 1st

Managed to get 108 HP on an Automaton task; both were accidental. I didn't realize I had gone over limit on Airut tasks & I wasn't tracking my HP. So it was a nice bonus but the point was to slay and bring up my virtus wand level

- 107 defense
- 105 ranged

I got both during a Slayer assignment. Nothing important, still waiting on 85 Invention.

I've been working on several items at once for Invention, but I won't try to get XP for them all at the same time. I'll probably siphon scythe and tetsu armour/legs repeatedly @ level 9-12 from mostly abyssal tasks (along with some airut tasks). I've been working on ranged with dark beasts. I haven't done ganos or muspah for a while, but I'll probably do some mage with them down the road. The "problem" is that I can't mask-force them as tasks. I'd prefer ganodermic beasts but I don't think you can pick them out from all the other polypore creatures. Maybe the prif master only gives ganodermic beasts but I doubt it.

I'd like to get slayer fairly high on my (endless?) route to 120 Invention.
