say if you lose your fight to a class A, can you fight them in freestyle to count for glove req?

Why need shield? I did the dual nomad fight with 9 brews killed first nomad with only 2 brew was wearing rapier deffender + spec restores on claws

You can fight nomad in the Special mode, just not in Climber/Endurance. Probably to prevent people from unlocking all of the tower, so Jagex has time to finish up the top floor boss.
