plenty of people want a new skill.... but it needs to be something good and worth the time/investment otherwise what's the point
the current community is more then happy with how the gear setups are now, adding so much just for the sake of mage gear is hardly worth it

You're right. I don't see a downside to adding a new skill though. It might be interesting, it might be awful. Either way, it will add likely add a new dynamic to the game.

A new skill is a guaranteed way to bring a lot of people back (even if it's just short-term), and when people return to OSRS for any amount of time it's likely it will sink it's teeth into them again and they will join us in the depths.

like I said they just need 2 reconfigure some of the rewards and shit for the skill. change minuscule things with the skill and itll be a decent enough skill that everybody would stop whining.

the problem really is the bullshit rewards that give the eoc/rs3 feeling and starts to taint this game even more then it already has been. sadly jagex's track record isn't good AT ALL. but im hoping for the best on this 1. it seems like it will be released either way with all the time they have put into it.

I opened that page about the skill and tldr'd right outa there

pretty sure 2k worlds will become 2.1k and 2.2k to 2.3k

also the fuck would people say it's new content..

it's essentially a worthless skill that's going to take forever to level and sink your bank. HOW IS THIS GOOD CONTENT ? this is garbage

this brings nothing to the game, why would I craft an armor when I can just buy ancestral ?
