I have my private off for a reason. Everyone in the FC knows who I am on here, he has had ample opportunity to message me on here. The only times he attempted to apologize is when I am off and on/afking and never saw any attempt to apologize and I have to ask an uninvolved 3rd party what exactly happened a week later.
The problem isn't only the fact that I didn't get an apology. I also never got any response from Tony other than "I'll ask around" but not what happened. Also when I tried to ask Mitch about it the first time about it he says it wasn't even him on his account and he had nothing to say other than that when he too should've also apologized since it was his account involved. I know if someone were on my account and kicked someone, accident or not, without justification I would've accepted partial responsibility for it happening.
The other issue is that now everyone who had kick privs prior is getting punished for this as it has now been revoked to only someone with access to the fc account being able to kick. Now when someone needs to be dealt with, such as someone causing "wave spam" as Meg informed me of happening earlier, no one can do anything until someone with access gets on.
To be clear I'll give my side of the story:
Hexing and TJP were in my opinion hyping up wyverns so much, and I personally don't think they're anything special, so I spoke up. The gold per hour or whatever is decent for semi-afk. I was pushing that zulrah and other things are much more efficient, almost 2-3x as much depending on drops at zulrah alone. Jobs and bossing as well make well over 600k an hour, which I personally consider terrible money. They are right, semi-afk consistent money at wyverns is good. The problem I had was them continuing to call me stupid etc in chat, so I took matters into my own hands and kicked them both from the chat. Gives us all time to simmer down etc, and after Hexing Curse was kicked, the chat list updated right as I was kicking TJP and Unico was then kicked on accident.
Since then none of the involved have had any issues, fuck we even get along. My goal was to eliminate toxic behavior in the chat, and sometimes you gotta be the bad guy or whatever you'll call it. I apologized like 5 times now to Unico, its up to him whether or not to accept it. That's fine with me. But the problem now lies in Unico's reaction to this accident. It's not necessarily what happened, but its how Unico has reacted thats caused other peoples chat privileges to be removed, causing problems for other players.
Like I said, it was an accident. I have nothing against Unico, or Hexing Curse or TJP. I see all of us as members of a community, and I feel we should all atleast try to respect each other and get along. This problem stemmed from a couple of guys butting heads and is kind of getting out of hand... Just my 2 cents though.
