IE: I wanted Virtus, I had Virtus Top/Arcane. Took some extra cash out, got near-cleaned, twice, but eventually got my shit. Used that money, raised more money, went back, made more money. Obviously, I've dipped into 'crucial' GP in the past, dozens of times, but as I say, not as I do. Really, you should get the gear that you need to make money, and then use the money you make, after you have supplies to go get more money, for staking. It shouldn't be a, 'I'm going all in. If I get fucked, I quit.', because that shit doesn't work.
Again, hypocritical, as I've done that shit a few times. But what I just did, those last two stakes, fall completely in line with my earlier preach. I wanted to stockpile some Armadyl Runes for doing Mithril Dragons, and now, once they buy, I'll have 35K Armadyl Runes & I've got like 40M Cash leftover. Shits not bad.
Get the gear that you need to profit. (In my case, Virtus, Arcane, Staffadyl, ETC) Profit with that gear. Use the profit to try and stake for long-term item goals, IMO. Get you some Bandos for Bandos, and stake for Nex Gear. Secure Nex gear, start nexing, stake splits, go for Nex armor, etc. Work your way up 'n shit.
And I need fucktons more runes. Something like 1300 runes an hour for Miths, 1.25 hours per effigy, do math etc. Hoping to get a dent @ Agility there, once I find mass videos to watch. Basically, whenever I'm not at Glakkers or TDs.
