also @ ish, nice drop am jealous
camp that new stuff till it crashes for max profit
They're been out since, I believe, wednesday? And boots still hold value.
I love the absolute fuck out of these monsters. They're nearly deserted atm, which means homies is giving up. Expecting a rise in the staff, and a little drop, followed by stability on the boots.
These motherfuckers are MINE.Also, anyone wondering about Glakker method, C/Ping a post of mine from another Forum, so some shit may not make sense. Feel free to ask for clarification, ETC. The repost of Glaivens is not to show off my drop, but to show Prayer/Brew usage during the ~38 minute course.
I've done 110 Shards, and I've had two pairs of Glaiven boots, one at ~85 shards, and the other at 110 Shards. 25.3M & 20M. Also 135.2M @ the Staff.
I've come up with a new inventory for anyone interested. I love this setup.

^ Still in beta. But I believe I will be bringing 4 brews, 3 ovls/recovers, a super prayer or two, and then the restores. I can definitely stretch the 40 minute trips to 60+.
How this works: Judge what to use, based on your HP. If you have low HP at the start of the kill, put on the Veracs, and start healing. Due to your +229 Ranged defense, and 15% bonus from your steel titan, I advise definitely trying to soul split more often during the Ranged phase, than the Magic. You do, surprisingly, have some magic defense, but it's not that much. Boots/Gloves/ETC.
Absolutely NO Melee is used in this setup. I have Veracs on during the Glacytes, 100% of the time. You cannot tank them in Ahrims, and if you try to, you will get fucked up. After the Glacytes go down, if you're not incredibly low HP, in the 1-hit zone, then switch to the Ahrims to rap up the kill. I was noticing ~1:3 kills I was missing the kill because of my fumbling with Rapier/Defender-->CS/Arcane & Resetting Spell, but this isn't a problem anymore. You save time by not having to switch/remember to switch early, and the higher magic attack actually does offer more accurate hits, but requires tanking. If you're capable of switching, feel free to bring Bandos or Torva, if you plan to Rapier the enduring. For me personally, I prefer to Mage it, from very, very far back. It is definitely worth the time to lure, as you will hit 450++ with Magic on that mafucka.
Tried tonight: Using Bandos+Zerker Ring instead of Veracs+Wealth to boost DPS with Rapier @ Enduring & Claw Specs w/Spec Recovers (All at once, etc.) Too much clicking, actually slowed me down. Not worth it.
Using Akrisae after the minions have died, for the Prayer regeneration, high prayer bonus, and high magic attack bonus, to get the kill down quick. Definitely NOT worth it. The -10% Magic damage from the staff is a pain in the ass. The magic bonus is a bit higher than Veracs/CS/Arcane, but I mean, fuck it.
And finally the setup I currently use. This image is ~38 minutes into my trip.

If there is any high melee defense gear that hinders your Magic less than Veracs, LMK.
