False if you use the plugin hub instead of the preinstalled plugins every now and then something gets in there that can.

RuneLite is considered "use at your own risk" but this is because there can be unreliable sources for downloading it that can lead to hijacking(hence the link on the osrs site), as well as specific plugins that are deemed by Jagex to be not allowed.

This was less than a year ago.

Can you please link me to this? I have a hard time believing that after all of the 3rd party client interactions, anything on Runelite would be bannable, especially since Runelite is listed on the website, in the Jagex Launcher AND there is this listed in the client itself:

E/ Not saying you're wrong. I just have a very hard time believing that.
E2/ I google'd this

I only found one post (that has this exact language) and it is referring to 2019 articles. When RL was not an official client.

Once again, not trying to be a dick; I just want to know if I'm using a client that has potential to get me banned after Jagex has listed it as good-to-go in every aspect I've ever seen lol

idk if you missed it, but RL was approved and is fully allowed by jagex ( including all plugins as they are regularly checked before going out to the public ) as Barcelona showed above, they are all allowed now , before it use to not be this way and any1 could upload a plugin w/o it being checked
