i was prepared to be on the attack at jagex
but this answer makes complete sense
i fully sympathize with their choice

It was more like people on reddit thought displayed results influenced the way people would vote and wanted it changed not that jagex thought reddits witchhunts were influencing the poll results.

reddit squashes and discourages anybody who challenges the status quo
